My Salty Red Story...

Salty Red was created from a simple idea: childhood should be colourful, comfortable and full of adventure. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and made right here in South Africa, using quality fabrics, playful prints and small-batch care. And now, the story has grown... What started as clothing for smallies has expanded into beautiful pieces for adults too made with the same quality, comfort and attention to detail you love. Because the best moments are even better when the whole family can match.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Salty Red made?

All Salty Red garments are proudly designed and made in South Africa. We produce in small batches using local suppliers and makers, ensuring quality craftsmanship while supporting local industry.

How do your sizes fit?

Our pieces are designed to be true to size, with a comfortable, easy fit for both children and adults. Kids can move and play freely, while adults enjoy effortless comfort and style. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit. A detailed size guide is available on each product page.

Will the garments shrink after washing?

Quality and durability are at the heart of Salty Red. All our fabrics are pre-washed before production to minimise shrinkage and ensure colour stays true. We use 100% cotton and strong finishes so your pieces keep their shape, colour and softness wash after wash.

Do you offer matching family outfits?

Yes! Matching is part of the Salty Red story. Many of our prints are available in coordinated Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me styles, perfect for holidays, special occasions and creating beautiful family moments.
